It all started back in our early school days, at Primary school I always wanted to play the guitar, and for as many years as I remember I sung whether it be in school plays, or general singing at home. Steve had already started playing the drums before he reached Secondary school, but then took up music when he reached Secondary school, learning to play the drums, and the odd occasional song in choir practice. He was a big hit at Secondary school, being the youngest drummer ever to join the school band and playing backing in many different school plays. It was when I moved to Secondary school that I really started to perfect all my music knowledge, learning to play the guitar by myself and joining choir practice like Steve. During the period from 1990-1992, myself and Steve decided to form a little band just as a duo enjoying playing the music that we had always been brought up with 'Rock & Roll' under the name of The Midnight Dynamos. We both progressed in our playing and singing and we eventually started to put harmonies into the band, which everyone used to talk about on the Rock and Roll circuit. We then got our break when Sandy & Phil (Skegness RNR Society) gave us a spot on there weekender at Cleethorpes at the Beachcomber Holiday Park back in 1993, only being a duo we was a big hit being asked to play with by Greggi G, starting to perform all over the country and being the only young Rock N Roll band anyone had ever seen. In the space of 11 years upto 2005 our band The Midnight Dynamos grew from strength to strength having employed 3 Bass players, Brett Harrison (1994-1995), Ricky Sherwood (1995-1996) who we went on with to have a record deal with Nervous Records - Do You Wanna Dance - NERCD095 which is still on sale today and Darren Perry (1996-2005) who we went on with to tour all over the country, The Carribean Islands - Ocean Village 2004 and be privaliged to work along side many greats such as, The Dreamers, The Ivy League, Swinging Blue Jeans, The Cufflinks etc.. and be able to work some of the biggest venues in the country. After Darren decided to leave the band we wanted to move onto something that would involve just myself and Steve. We went away on holiday in 2004 and we sat down and thought about what we could do. Then an idea was sprung by our Mum "Why don't you do a tribute to the Everly Brothers" what a good idea, we had always put harmonies into the band and people often used to comment alot about this and that how our harmonies where so close and tight just like the Everly Brothers, Righteous Brothers etc.

When we got back we set on putting the show together, still keeping the band going every minute of our spare time went on getting all the clothes, the wigs, the backing tracks, the guitars etc.. I had to teach Steve how to play the guitar and in the space of 12 Months he had picked up the guitar really quick and I was well chuffed. We practiced as much as we could to perfect our voices as much like the Everly Brothers as we could, then in February 2005 the ideas and all the hard work came alive at the Rebourn Club in Scunthorpe when we performed the first show alongside The Dreamers, The journey hasn't stopped since that date and I must say the hard work was well worth it. We are becoming a big sucess all over the country with our Everly Brothers show and playing some places we never even got to see when we was on the road in the band. Being in the band and having the breaks that we have had taught us about stage presentation, professionalism, and all the greats about being on the road as a musician.

We would like to thank everybody who has got us to where we are today and that all we have acheived over the past 14 years wouldn't be without the Audiences, the Agents and all the people that gave us our breaks right back in 1993.

Most important we would like to give all our love and thanks to our Mum who has stood by us, and all the help she given us in everything we have done with the Band and the Everly Brothers show.

Thanks Mum, your one in a million !

Here's to another 14 Years !!
